Trust is like a mirror. Once you've broken it, it's hard to put the pieces back together.

Yup. So true.
It's so hard when you break a mirror. First of all you have to check if you've been wounded. Then you have to pick up all the pieces on the floor. Once you've picked up all the pieces, somehow, you still try to put it back together.
But still, when you break a mirror, there are those tiny crumbs of mirror left on the floor which you have to sweep away.
Those gaps are almost impossible to fill.
All you can see when you look in the mirror, is a broken and distorted reflection.
